Challenge
Transition away from printed editions. Many users read content on a mobile device; however, content needs to be optimized for mobile. More opportunities for partners to inform users about beauty products.
The Loulou editorial team features clothing, cosmetics and lifestyle trends through 365 days of photographs of Canadian TV host Liz Trinnear and Maripier Morin. Galleries are the primary means of telling stories for Loulou. The user explores the galleries, sometimes returning daily to check the latest shopping trends. The users' journey was categorized into Discovery, Consume, and Recirculate. The success of Loulou is measured by a projected 20 percent increase in online traffic. Research showed that users often parachute into articles through social media.

Users want to know what is happening in local news. Users want more video content. Content is only available through traditional broadcast radio. Easy access to traffic reports while driving. Users perceived the brand as dated.
Solution
680News and CityNews share news with their affiliate news outlets. Up-to-the-minute local News, Traffic, and Weather via an instant live radio stream. The brand regained competitiveness through localized news in metropolitan areas and an overhaul of user experience. Success was achieved through a 20 percent increase in audience engagement, measured by ComScore.
