Challenge
Residential configurations can differ from home to home depending on the availability of Fibre technology in the area (Fibre to the home / Fibre to the Neighbourhood). Self-installation can be overly complex without specific instructions for customers. The customer may have the equipment shipped to them where Fibre is already in their home or have it handed to them when the technician completes the Fibre-line installation. Professional Installation is also available for a fee and time scheduled by the customer.

Solution
Bell customers receive a package and begin installation via the MyBell App. A QR code links the package to the customer's account, and the appropriate installation flow is served for the customer's self-installation. Customers can quickly identify the ports in their homes compatible with the equipment. Customers can set their Fibre installation appointment and manage it from the MyBell App. The installation covers configurations for Internet, TV, and  Home Phone for Fibre to the Home (FTTH), Fibre to the Neighbourhood (FTTN), where customers still have copper wiring and Pair Bonding (FTTH-PB), where two copper wires are used to double the connection speed.
